Myra Zolynsky
Treasurer
Myra Zolynsky has been a dedicated advocate for the hockey community for over two decades. As a founding member of Hockey has Heart in 2002, she has served as Treasurer since the organization’s inception, helping guide its mission of supporting hockey families in times of need. Her commitment to giving back is deeply rooted in her lifelong passion for the sport.
Myra’s involvement in hockey began long before Hockey has Heart was founded. Since 1998, she has volunteered with USA Hockey as an Associate Registrar, working tirelessly to support youth players, families, and local programs. Her efforts behind the scenes have ensured countless young athletes have the opportunity to experience the game she loves.
Hockey has always been a family affair for Myra. Her two sons grew up playing youth hockey, and now here grandsons proudly continue the tradition at the NCAA level. Her personal connection to the sport fuels her dedication to making a positive impact on hockey families across all levels of play.
Through her leadership, generosity, and unwavering support, Myra has helped Hockey has Heart become a trusted resource for those facing unexpected hardships. “The heart of hockey isn’t just on the ice - it’s in the people wo come together to lift each other up.”
