Lucy is a founding member of Hockey has Heart and currently serves as President. The charity was formed in 2003 when a father of a Farmington Hills Hockey Association player needed a heart transplant. The community rallied around the family and HHH became a 501(c)3.

Since that time Lucy and the team have aided more than 70 families in Michigan from the UP and all throughout the lower peninsula distributing well over $2 million.

Lucy spent 30+ years in sales with IBM covering the automotive and oil & gas industries in metro Detroit and Houston. She lives in Plymouth with her husband, Jim, and enjoys spending time with her grandsons, volunteering and baking sourdough bread.
